Yes, my first beach cover up!!!

Aloha all!

Just finished my first beach cover up.
It was supposed to be a cardigan!?!?!?
Well, the cardigan was repeated of hdc and I got so bored!!!
I've been crochet for 2yeas and all of what I made was combination stitches or hanging colors
frequent so I never had feeling of I'm going to cave by crocheting.
One more sleeve to finish cardigan, I decided to not continue. I know I'm very crazy.

Then I found very beautiful pattern for free so gave a shot.
It's a boho tank top from Breann, link is below.
http://www.hookedonhomemadehappiness.com/boho-tank-top-crochet-pattern/

I figure I'll wear dress more than vest like tank top so I used her pattern but arranged little.
Straps and motifs attached to straps which is top 4 squares (2 in front, 2 in back), arm hokes were used hook size G-4mm, also the larger motifs joining the smaller motifs with 4mm hooks as well.
All other 12 motifs and joining those motifs bottom edging were done by bigger hook, size H-5mm.

Reason why I did this because I didn't wanna have too loose arm holes and neck line even I have bigger arms compare to my body size. I know that I'll only wear bikini or one piece swim suits underneath but I din't want too buggy around chest either.

Well, if you have large size breasts then you don't need to change the hook size like I did but if you wanna have some thing that need space around hip but snag at top then you can try changing hook size.
Stitch count will be same if you follow Breann's patter so you have no problem joint motifs together.

My dress has total 16 motifs. I'm 5'2" and length of this dress is very short but there is fringes and also I live beach life in Hawaii, doesn't need to be long.

Yarns are from Lion Brand Cotton Ease. Not sure how much skeins I used, maybe 3~4?(sorry)

Anyway, I'm very happy about result.
